RailRunner offers the ability for economical containerized shipping to reach areas which today are not connected to the intermodal network. RailRunner "Terminal Anywhere" technology makes possible intermodal terminals with minimal property and infrastructure requirements, and without capital-intensive cranes and lifting equipment.

• RailRunner supports the domestic port terminal concept, as well as hub-and-spoke systems
• Because RailRunner is environmentally friendly, its operation can be set up with minimal regulatory restrictions
• RailRunner can create wealth through new business opportunities and infrastructure development. The RailRunner services are provided by independent third party entities called RailRunner Service Operators (RSO's) who manage linehaul, rolling stock, freight drayage, terminal operations, and shipping administration. New business opportunities and jobs can be created on all operating levels (management, manufacturing, terminal operation and transportation).
